In honor of the upcoming Valentine’s day holiday, I have compiles a sort of photo montage for you. I looked for tack and accessories that are bedecked with that familiar symbol of love, the heart. Now, I really don’t have a HUGE issue with heart shaped conchos or heart print saddle pads or sheets. Just do us a favor, and refrain from bedecking your gelding or worse yet, stallion, with a sheet covered in pink and red hearts. How embarrassing, all of the other horses will make fun of him.

ReplyDeleteI have a black bridle all decked out in hearts. it looks SO sweet on my Dun/buckskin boy...only...I have a tan saddle now :( so it doesn't match anymore.
Personally, LOVE the hearts!
The polos are adorable...but I could easily live without the rest :-P

The polos are too loud and you would never be able to make the pattern when they are on....just a blur of color. The heart sheet is not to bad. If not for all the silver the saddle would be ok. I put the rest in the trash!

ReplyDeletePolos, meh... That saddle set was pretty cute- I have no objection to heavy application of silver/chrome if its tasteful- I show draft horses...bring the chrome baby!
ReplyDeleteThat sheet is cute, but as Meghan said...Keep it clean?! That said- my gelding was impossible to blanket when he had a pretty teal w/ purple piping blanket/hood set back in the day. When he got his manly plaid rug, and now his black Magnum, he's pie.
I am soo glad Godzilla is a cute pony mare, she gets glitter hearts on her butt when the little girls ride.
