Sorry, had to get that out of my system. Wow this sucker is fug-ly. Thankfully no sparkles, silver, or sequins, but unfortunate looking none the less. Oh, and it comes in other fun colors too, stay tuned.
A look at some of the most horrible examples of horse equipment on the market today. Please remember, this blog is simply MY opinions. Everyone has some and like armpits, some stink! It is all subjective anyway. I am not telling anyone what to use at all. I am just making observations and stating my own likes and dislikes. If you do not agree, fine, you are entitled. THERE IS NO ONE RIGHT WAY. Please, read and enjoy and try not to be ugly to others. Everyone has a right to their opinions.
HHmmmm.....2 cups of coffee, and I still like it....LOL.....
ReplyDeleteBut I want the stars gone, and instead of pink, a medium brown would really set that pattern off.
I'm also not a fan of in-skirt rigging (as opposed to in-tree rigging).....but that's just me.
^ yes, if it was brown instead of pink and a few less stars, it would be a great looking saddle (well, a good one, I don't know if it would qualify for great).
ReplyDeleteYeah, I actually like it too- I agree, nix the stars, and change the color... I actually don't even think the pink is that ugle, I'm just not a pink person.
ReplyDeleteNeeds more bling.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody ride in those weird inlaid seats? I'd think having tooling under your...um...lady parts....would be not so comfy. Am I wrong? Not that I generally ride with said lady parts against that area of the saddle, but we all get slightly dislodged once in a while.
Don't we?
That's ugly. I agree that in brown, it wouldn't be half as bad, but in that pink, it's hideous.
ReplyDeleteA big improvement would be to remove all the stars. I am a huge fan of "less is more" and this is NOT IT.
ReplyDeleteI actually like the stars, but I think I'd want it minus the rest of the scroll work. You can one or the other, not both. And I'm definately not a pink fan. It looks almost red to me and I think that's why I like it.
ReplyDeleteI also don't do any competitions or shows, it would just be a fun saddle.
peaches1111_00: that's funny 'cause I like the scroll work, but I'm with you, it looks more red than pink to me!
ReplyDeleteMeh... I don't hate it... I could see a 10 year old girl riding in it... I wouldn't personnaly ride in it (Not in your life!!!)... but it's not irritating for the eyes (if you take a few of those stars out).
ReplyDeleteStars gone and maybe just a darker brown colour instead of the pink and it would be a lovely saddle.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but if you remove the stars and change the color, is it really the same saddle...???
ReplyDeleteAgain, a saddle with no fringe!! I think you're grasping at straws here.....ROFL!! Fugly for sure!! Won't find my big lilly white behind in that one! LOL!

All I can think of is 1950's squeaky clean versions of "cowboys" and "cowgirls". Dale and Roy, old comic books...it has a nostalgia factor for me. Take it away! I confess. I like it against my will!!
ReplyDeleteYes!! I totally see this with a Singing Cowboy riding in it....
ReplyDeletewith big fringed gloves with matching stars in the cuffs.
I like it for its hokey vintage charm. But then I also love pastel bathrooms, where the toilet, tub, sink & tile are matching porcelain.
This is NOT a naughty cowgirl poledance saddle.
