  1. Hah!

It looks like the rider may have been too big for the saddle, so they decided to remove the stuffing from the knee rolls so they'd fit better- except now it looks like someone decided to go all "Rosie the Riveter" on it to close it back up.

  2. It's bedazzelly now!

I also love how this is also an ad fail... that there western saddle pad under that there english saddle is backwards. I know it's just for a background but that there annoys me...

  3. On the contrary, I would say this one is a practicality, DIY WIN!

  4. At least the western saddle pad is color coordinated to the girth. Looks like the saddle was a POS before the "repair" but if it fit a horse and rider I could see someone using it for a training saddle or something to strap to a greenie to get them used to the feel of saddle.

  5. lol. I saw that one ebay too. xD I think there was somebody looking for a quick fix. Pretty lazy if you ask me. Especially when you're trying to sell it.

  6. Looks like it may have been one of those "cheap package deals" to begin with.

Now they realize why it was so cheap. And no the studs did not increase the value.

  7. I first thought that's not too tacky...but it's plenty tacky.

Just not in the normal sense this blog uses it.

  8. If the fence in the background actually keeps their horse in the pasture, then I don't think they have much of a jumping horse anyway!

  9. At least they didn't use duct tape!

  10. I'm about 99% certain that's the same JT International POS saddle I bought as a $150 package complete with bridle, bit, that girth, a crappy saddle pad, leathers and stirrups. I got it to be the first saddle I tossed on my colt, figuring I didn't care if he completely demolished it and I'd very much care if he destroyed my beloved Stubben. It doesn't fit anything I've put it on from ponies to my Arab to TBs to QHs. Mine served its purpose though as the first thing on my colt's back and has gone back to the tack room for my next training project's first saddle. I can't see any other uses for it though...
