Well, maybe there are SOME words, like; pink, fluffy, maribou, rhinestones, and of course, at the bottom, zebra. And what is even scarier than the tack (if that is possible) is probably the amount of money these sell for. Can you imagine trying to clean horse sweat out of that fluffy pink monstrosity at he top?

Maybe these are used by people with LOTS of $$$? When they get dirty, they just buy a new one. I've known people like that, but I have never had that much money(unfortunately)and even if I did, I wouldn't waste it buying things over and over for fashion.

Well, in certain situations... say a drill team or a parade where bling is needed... I could see the use for these. Everyday riding? No way.

ReplyDeleteOldMorgans: would be practical if your horse doesn't "sweat", doesn't get wet, dusty, dirty or otherwise messed up.......around horses, which are sweaty, slobbery, dusty and dirty!
ReplyDeleteI am embarrassed to say that my mother bought me the fluffy one - in blue!!! I have never used it. It just hangs in my tack room collecting dust and I will occasionally brush it off. LOL
