A look at some of the most horrible examples of horse equipment on the market today.
Please remember, this blog is simply MY opinions. Everyone has some and like armpits, some stink! It is all subjective anyway. I am not telling anyone what to use at all. I am just making observations and stating my own likes and dislikes. If you do not agree, fine, you are entitled. THERE IS NO ONE RIGHT WAY.
Please, read and enjoy and try not to be ugly to others. Everyone has a right to their opinions.

Different Color - Same Tacky
Nope, a different color doesn't help this one at all. Still tacky, and pink, so two strikes there.
I really like it! I don't know anything about western tack to know if it's put together right but I love tan tack anyways and pink is my fav color so it's a win/win situation for me. :-)
I usually do NOT like light-colored tack, and this is no exception. If it were pony-sized, on a dun or palomino pony, or a Halflinger maybe, with a girl under 8 in pigtails, then.... OK.
Oddly, I kind of agree that in model size, it might be super cute.
It just looks poor quality, too, and that's the main thing.
would you be willing to add a catagory for the tacky things someone might wear while using an item of tacky tack like this? A stroll down the women's wear aisle at my local feed store is enough to make my eyes burn. Thanks for taking time to provide us all with a good laugh!
That looks designed by committee.

ReplyDeleteIt looks worse in pink. I don't mind pink, but this just does not work.
ReplyDeleteYou know darn well that if say, Kirsteen H. or Erin C, did that very same thing in 1/10 scale, you'd be on it like white on rice.
ReplyDeleteJust admit it!
That it soooo ugly!!! I like pink but that is too much pink! I don't think a saddle will look good if it had pastel colors on it.
ReplyDeletePat, you got it right ;)!
ReplyDeleteI actually quite like it...
ReplyDeleteGimmie that headstall/breastcollar combo in red instead of pink and I'd be ALL over it. The saddle, no thanks. That's TOO much.

ReplyDeleteWow! That would look great on my mule. :D
ReplyDeleteThat's one ugly saddle. I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time.

ReplyDeleteI don't really like light-colored tack, but I would ride in that in a heartbeat!:) But honestly I'm just a sucker for colors lol:):)
