Friday Fail

This photo has so many things wrong I won't even try to get into it. It just has FAIL written all over it. What part of this is not a bad idea?

So much wrong, on so many levels.

Also we have a "Saddle fit fail" for you, it is just too comical not to post. I know it was done on purpose, but it is still funny!

"Does this saddle make my butt look big?"

  1. First pictures scarier than hell. I don't even want to know what they were thinking. Really I don't.
Second picture reminds me of when I got my pony saddle when I was a kid and put in on my mare for my neice to see. It fit my Rhodesian Ridgeback better. LOL

  4. oh i just LOVE the second pic! I am doing training for a lady who used to do pony parties with her minis and so her tack room is FULL of teeny tiny little saddles like that! I just want to take one home and put it on the huge, fat QH i have in training just to get a picture like that!

  5. Re: the first picture, I've seen professionals do that with trick ponies, but really there ought to be a disclaimer "don't try this at home." If you're a professional trick pony trainer, fine, we'll assume you know what you are doing... But if you're just copying the pro trainer because you think it looks cool, I'm betting you're going to eventually get kicked in the head.

  7. the second one is just too good.
We have some 180+cm horses in the stable and some shetty saddles. I MUST go saddle up one of the Koliats. It´s a must see in real :) (imagine if the saddle would be pink :D )

  8. Apparently the first picture is popular - as this comic was just done with it!

The second one - don't give the BYBs any ideas!

  9. The first photo--some folks see something like this done by some Big Name Clinician and think it is *the* thing to do. No doubt, when the horse acts like a horse and clunks the person in the head, the horse gets the blame.

I got a nice grin from the second photo. Looks perfect for one's tiny tot to ride.

  10. I've seen professional trick riders do something like that. But it was much more controled. The key word there is "professional", which that 15-16 year old girl is not.

ROFL @ the second pic. XDD

  11. Wow. That first picture is impending diasaster.

I laughed at the second one and HAD to send it to you. I'm glad it made its way onto your blog. I just hope they didn't put any weight on that saddle, it looks like the horse's withers are being pinched.

  12. First picture: at least she's wearing clothes.

I'M SORRY, I COULDN'T HELP IT! And I just drank a beer, so that might have something to do with it.

  14. First picture looks like an interesting insurance claim waiting to happen.

The look on the horse's face in the second picture is HILARIOUS. He's so clearly going "Hello, humans? WTF?"

  15. I'm REALLY glad that the chick in the first pic was wearing pants. If she was wearing a skirt or dress I would have to wonder....

  17. For the first picture...Hm. Well, We all know what happens when horsie spooks at something... (Perhaps the Camera flash?) Good ol' Natural Selection at work. I hope.....We really don't want people like that making MORE people like that, do we?

The second reminds me of the Jockey saddles only....Western version. Ha.
