A look at some of the most horrible examples of horse equipment on the market today.
Please remember, this blog is simply MY opinions. Everyone has some and like armpits, some stink! It is all subjective anyway. I am not telling anyone what to use at all. I am just making observations and stating my own likes and dislikes. If you do not agree, fine, you are entitled. THERE IS NO ONE RIGHT WAY.
Please, read and enjoy and try not to be ugly to others. Everyone has a right to their opinions.

OMG Poor Cookie Monster!
Holy crap, someone made a saddle out of Cookie Monster! God, why?
Contrary to popular belief, cookie monsters are only endangered in their home habitat. Elsewhere, they've become invasive pests that seriously endanger the cookie harvest every year. And there's no bag limit or special season to hunt them.
I think it's wonderful that these otherwise annoying creatures are being used for something, er, useful.
Maybe it is some type of slipcover, like the ones you can buy for your couch? Because "really", who would want this to be a permanent addition to any saddle? I bet the fuzz comes off on everything too, gets matted and looks like crap after only a few rides.
Oh dear, someone didn't keep their saddle very clean and now it's covered in mold. Tsk tsk. Oh wait, this was done on purpose? You gotta be joking.....! Love the matching saddle, uh, straps?
I'm not sure what to say.
ReplyDeleteNot sure there is anything I can say.
Why?
Who thought this was a good use of materials?
Or a good idea?
okay now that's just wrong - it also makes me think of those plush covered toilet seat lid covers...

Crrrap-tastic. Really.
ReplyDeleteI'll take his cookies, then.
ReplyDeleteIf I wanted upholstery under my butt, I'd stay at home on the couch!

......I really have nothing to say on this one. Geeze.
hehehe, toilet seat covers... invasive pests... hehehe
ReplyDeleteI would ride in that (but never out and about in public). It looks so comfy. No more thighs sticking to the saddle. But I think I'd want to pet it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure it comes in neon pink too.
