A look at some of the most horrible examples of horse equipment on the market today.

FAIL
Umm, I think someone is a bit confused here...
I actually ran across this on a used tack message board. Is it really so difficult to look in a magazine or catalog to see how the stirrups are supposed to attach? Really?
Actually, I've seen this before. One time my in-laws told me they were taking a saddle back because the leathers were uneven. I asked what they meant, and they showed me. Indeed, one of the lower flaps of the fender was higher than the other. So I grabbed the back of the lower one and slid it through the stirrup jockey and viola--the fenders were even. My father-in-law said oh! I didn't realize they could MOVE! We laughed about it.
The scarier part is maybe they already DID!
ReplyDeleteWhen the pic was small I though, what's wrong with a plain brown older saddle!?! and then opened the blog.... oh. yeah. FAIL.
ReplyDeleteI like how the stirrup hobbles are still on the right part of the fender. Horse people scare me.
ROFLMAO!!!!! Priceless!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat must have taken a bit of work to get it so terribly wrong.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention that one goes on the other side if you actually put them on right. =P
ReplyDeleteHow did they even do that?
ReplyDeletethis almost belongs on thereifixedit doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought all along that having the lower part of the fender hooking in the top of my boot was annoying...
ReplyDeleteor the bottom of the flap on my close contact rubbing my calf raw if I rode sans the right boots...
Can anyone imagine having the saddle rub raw spots from being put together that way? Yikes!

ReplyDeleteMan, I hope I used the correct terminology in my above post....
ReplyDeleteMy thigh hurts just looking at that.
