Scary EVERY COLOR Saddle of the Week

Um, well...it's...different. Yeah, different. Looks like the bastard child of a parade saddle and a disco ball. Why, oh why would you DO this?

  1. I WANT IT

haha you guys would hate me... in barrel racing I'm more for one to goof off and get the crowd's attention because I don't like running my horse into the ground... that being said I do some pretty crazy stuff to my horses..

I have a solid sorrel her show colours are royal purple with bright yellow and her symbol is butterflies... when she's ready to play in barrels we're gonna going to have purple and yellow butterflies throughout her mohawk... yes, we mohawk her mane

a solid bay, his thing is red, diamonds, and bling we deck him out in glitter... i mean really tack glitter

a pale palomino almost border line cremello her colours are pale pink and teal her thing is going to be silver hearts

and finally a black roan with chrome and her colour is... neon rainbow...this saddle would be perfect for her... LOL

  3. Someone put a lot of work in to that. I'd love to see it in person, just to see the detail they did to create that monster! lol

  4. Maybe it was a miss-mash of all the leftovers from all the other tacky saddles they made? Sort of like the quilt made of leftover fabric? Just quessing? Hideous in any case!

  8. It's the Skittles saddle.

    Ride the rainbow. :P

Seriously..that fender, doesn't it look like it's made of Skittles?

  9. That saddle would be perfect for a parade fun saddle. Non-horsey people would LOVE it just because it's sparkly. I think it wouldn't be as bad if it didn't have so many colors. And it's going to look horrible once those little shiny bits start to fleck and fall off.

  10. okay, it is horrible I'll agree BUT...I want it. LOL I want it so bad!!! My husband would die and the ladies I ride with would fall off their horses. It would be great to ride in a parade where I live, oh yeah!! where can I find that saddle?? haaha

  11. I have a sick yearning to touch it. Too bad you do not have a series of close ups of this to fuel the fire of a sick desire. . . . bravo!

  12. No, no, no, not Skittles - a BEJEWELED game screen :) but I have to admit that one is making me want it for some sick twisted reason and I don't even ride western anymore!

  13. I think that saddle INVENTS new colors.

  14. I couldn't post last night when I seen this but I think this one takes tacky to a whole new level.

I just imagine it blinding everyone and anyone in range when the sunlight hits it.

  15. OO i'm not the only one who loves it! HAha!

and yes... really... sparkles... and shiny things... and bright things... and colours... fascinate me...

OMG I'm thinking of ideas for a costume class I want to put my palomino in... she can be a rainbow and I can be a leprechaun! mu ha ha ha... a sparkley rainbow... sadly...I am almost 24...

  17. Look - I'm all for bizarre, weird colors, etc. Like I really LIKED the leopard saddle (yeah I know - tacky), but this multicolor catastrophe is just plain ugly!! Must be popular in another country or something.

  18. It looks like it was needlepointed or cross stitched.

  19. It looks parade/ceremonial for tribal events...

I... um.... kind of LOVE it as an art piece.

It has a very far-out and obsessive outsider-art quality to it, and looks to be well-executed. It kind of reflects (ahem) a folk aesthetic that embraces native and Mexican tropes, combining spiritual and tribal elements with an exuberant kitschy flair.

Damn, did I just write that? Dude, just think El Mariachi. There.
