Oh my, even the bit is pink. And it has been used. Run.

A look at some of the most horrible examples of horse equipment on the market today. Please remember, this blog is simply MY opinions. Everyone has some and like armpits, some stink! It is all subjective anyway. I am not telling anyone what to use at all. I am just making observations and stating my own likes and dislikes. If you do not agree, fine, you are entitled. THERE IS NO ONE RIGHT WAY. Please, read and enjoy and try not to be ugly to others. Everyone has a right to their opinions.
BWhahahahaha! Oh wait... Ew.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice the pink paint on the bit. Can you imagine how bad that must have tasted? Wonder how many times the horse got colic from swallowing toxic, sharp-edged paint chips?
The horse will look like it has pig-tails with those little puffs on each side. My old headstall had those but I cut them off. I was told those little horse hair tassles are SUPPOSED to be sprayed with fly spray to help the horses.
ReplyDeleteI almost wonder if this is actually just a REALLY bad russet leather headstall that has been wet/faded. But then there is the bit. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look too bad, exept for the 'horse pigtails'. It still looks so bad that i dont know who would actually USE it! I feel so sorry for the horse/pony that had to wear that.
ReplyDeleteThat is just wrong on so many levels ...
ReplyDeleteBlah!
Besides the pinkness of the thing, the horsey tassles would be annoying and the futurity knot on the browband is lopsided. Details, people, details. Just as important as the buckles lining up- it makes for a nicer picture.
ReplyDeleteI have a faded pink bridle...but I don't use it on my gelding. Just the mares!
