Well, three humans, two 4 year old fillies, a service dog, and a whole crapload of stuff made it to and from Gulf Wars with a minimum of drama. It was a great week, the girls saw a lot and learned to deal with it. They discovered that tents DO NOT eat horses and that they did not like staying in a box stall.
Here is a link for you to explore. This company makes more of the painted and rhinestone encrusted tack. Sorry, no pics, you will have to go to the website to see. Please don your protective sunglasses beforehand.

Welcome back!!! Without your restraining blog, I managed to buy a pink bit and some equally pink leather to make some kilties for my new pink riding shoes.....LOL....
ReplyDeleteAs tacky-impaired as I can be, I don't think I could ever do that Lady of Guadalupe tack set on that site.
YIKES!!
LOL AT THE VIRGIN OF GUADALUPE. That really irked me.But, THEY HAVE A RAINBOW ZEBRA SET. Oh. That's adorable. And I like the outlaw set, minus the "mama tried" part. And I just saw the rainbow stars set. AND ITS CLEARANCE. I want that. I love rainbow stuff. (excuse my rambling)
ReplyDeleteStill. Their stuff seems a little high-priced compared to other sites. I'd want something from Luans Leathers(drool) or Razzle tack before something from there.
Hey Sca, Good to see you back! Tell us about your trip! I missed this blog's posts because I adore tacky. Oh, and what do you think about this?

I think it's a really neat idea, but I don't know if I'd buy it.
Welcome back! We missed you! Looking masochistically forward to more horrendous gear.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I hope it was a great week. The heck with tacky Tack, were are the pictures from Gulf Wars?
ReplyDeleteWell, I didn't get to take as many pics as I wanted. I was usually wrestling with a silly filly or running here and there doing other things. I did get a few of the mounted combat and of the bareback challenge I sponsored. I will post them as soon as I can dig my camera out of the massive pile of STUFF we have yet to unpack. It looks like Gulf Wars puked in my house.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I had never heard of Gulf Wars and then went and looked at it online. It looks like a blast. What a great way to spend a week!!
ReplyDelete"Mama Tried" I freakin' LOVE that song!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI kind of like some of that stuff... it's soooo over the top - it's like something David Lee Roth would put on a horse!
SCA.... I am totally jealous of all your horsey dressup fun stuff!!!!
