Here we have yet ANOTHER stirrup attachment fail. Really? How difficult is this? This pic is from a saddle sales site with multiple other cheap piece of crap western saddles on it. Did we not notice something wrong here? This is a bit obvious folks.

ouch - my eyes! ouch - my legs! Fail, fail, fail.
ReplyDeleteI ride english and I STILL know how to do this right.
ReplyDeleteFAIL
Yeah---BACKASSWARDS stirrup attachment! Who was the flunky that put this together at the factory? Were they on drugs?
ReplyDeleteWow. Can you envision the poor newbie kid (wearing shorts and flip flops) on the "kid-safe" two year her parents bought her so they could "grow up together" wondering why she has bruises and lacerations on the inside of her legs? Yowza.
ReplyDeleteSillyPony: Exactly---backwards AND inside out, Yowza!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's on backwards......I think the whole thing is just completely flipped around.
ReplyDeleteLook where the strap with the buckle is.....at an angle, and if you took the whole assembly and flipped it over, it would be corrected.
It IS a FAIL by whoever approved the pics, though.......
*curls up in fetal position and weeps*
ReplyDeleteDiane, that's what I was thinking too -- just flipped around. In any case, though, the fact that the picture is on a saddle sales site makes it a monster fail. You'd think they'd want to pay attention to these sorts of details!
ReplyDeleteAnd to make matters worse-it's purple.
ReplyDeleteThe insides of my calves hurt just looking at that saddle.
