A look at some of the most horrible examples of horse equipment on the market today. Please remember, this blog is simply MY opinions. Everyone has some and like armpits, some stink! It is all subjective anyway. I am not telling anyone what to use at all. I am just making observations and stating my own likes and dislikes. If you do not agree, fine, you are entitled. THERE IS NO ONE RIGHT WAY. Please, read and enjoy and try not to be ugly to others. Everyone has a right to their opinions.
Ok, that horse will NOT be bringin sexy back!
ReplyDeleteI used to think that the zebra tack would be somewhat cute on a horse. That is, until I actually saw a horse decked out in it. I'm not a fan anymore.
ReplyDeleteLOL Gak is right, but the teenagers love love love this stuff LOL LOL
ReplyDeleteEWW!!! That's horrible!

You can see a whole lot more of this kind of stuff at any big NBHA show. Not to my taste AT ALL!
ReplyDeleteAm I becoming jaded...it doesn't even look that bad to me.
ReplyDeleteYuck - just yuck !
ReplyDeleteWhat horror!
ReplyDeleteThis is a powerful argument for bringing art classes back to schools! At least kids might have a chance at distinguishing art from kitsch, and good taste from no taste.
actually, this doesn't bug me. no where near as bad as some things.
ReplyDeletejust so glad I have hunters. Yes, you can "glam up" english tack, but there's a limit.
ReplyDeleteand pretty much NOBODY does the crystals on the GPA skunk stripe anymore.
I don't even know where to start, except for maybe Barrel Racer Barbie must have been drunk when designing this for her big night at the NFR...
ReplyDeleteBut even they don't use crap like this!
I dunno, I kinda like it (I am 35 this year so no teenager!) but I do have a thing about pink tack, LOL. I don't ride Western anyways so wouldn't buy it but if someone gave me this set, I wouldn't say no to use it for trail riding ;-)
ReplyDeleteFirst thought in my mind: Elton John rides horses???
ReplyDeleteI do believe a friend of mine has this set. She isn't a barbie, either. And yes, I have found it to be even more 'giee' on a horse.
