After seeing this, there is something to be said for the days when they thought that putting the American flag on "things" (shirts, hats and now saddles) was considered dishonorable! They've taken this to a whole new level. And $5200...Are they smokin CRACK?

Such poor taste we use with our flags these days . . . *sigh*

How do I get my blog name to be an easy 'click to link'?
Saw this saddle at the Washington International horse show tonight. I think it was in the silent auction. I have to admit it was a nice saddle.
ReplyDeleteI saw this for sale at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. It was obviously a custom display piece, not made for practical use. It's extremely intricate, the stars are cut outs, and the strips are individual pieces of leather.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, if anyone tried to actually USE this saddle I might tackle them, but I think it is to be respected as a piece of art. A saddle maker was just looking for a challenge. =]
