New One

Here is an animal print disaster that I have not seen yet...giraffe print! Combine that with the cutout areas completely clash with the seat as well. This one is a total fail in my book.

Basketweave FAIL

Um, not quite what we meant there guys. This sure looks sturdy and comfortable to ride...those fenders would RUB.

Not Bad

Thought I would leave this week on a slightly less scary note. Now, I don't ride Western, not any more at least, but I really like the copper combined with the silver on this saddle. Nicely done, not too over the top. I don't care for the amount of tooling or the fact that it's all big and floral, but otherwise it is ok. A darker color might would show off the copper better too. I know it's a Dale Chavez, some of his stuff is nice and some of it is WAY too over the top for me.

Colorblind

Whoever made this has to have been completely colorblind. What a hideous combination. It looks like blaze orange and taupe with black. I THINK it's supposed to be brown synthetic stuff and tan "leather", but maybe I am mistaken. All in all, a total FAIL.

Oil Lamps? Boats? What the heck?

Besides being just plain ugly, I cannot for the life of me figure out that the little cutouts are supposed to be. Combine that with the baby-poo greenish yellow and black color scheme, and it is altogether a most unappealing picture. It looks great with the red English style saddle pad too.

Patchy

Oh, my, a patchwork seat of tackiness. I see zebra, pink, green, leopard (I think) and black. I want to know who came up with this gem, were they just trying to use up the leftover pieces?

Sorry for the hiatus, with the holidays, then being ill, then my coworker being ill, and last week being my vacation (cruise to the Bahamas) I didn't have time to think, much less find tacky tack to blog about!
