Wow guys, those were some awesome captions! You have no idea how difficult it was to choose! I have awarded 1st-3rd places. Here they are in order...

"For sale: 9hh German import, excellent conformation, kid-safe, great on trails. Rover is an easy keeper, doesn't need shoes, and has a very smooth walk/jog/lope. $10,000 with saddle included."

2nd From Aylisha

"If I see any screaming little girls ready to braid pink bows into my hair, I swear I will run away and join a wolf pack"

3rd From Barrelsaddle

Once again Trigger didn't show up for work on the movie set and Rin-Tin-Tin had to fill in....

So, if you are one of these three folks, drop me an email with your mailing address and I will send you a little something as a prize!
If you guys want to make this a regular thing, we can. I can do one like, once a month or something. Just let me know in the comments!

Here is your Tacky Tack for today as well...

  1. Yea it sounds like a great idea to have contests every few weeks. I can never get enough giggles from this blog!

  2. Oh, wow. I can't believe I actually won. Sweet. ;)

  3. I love the idea of a monthy little contest! Makes things a lot more interactive. ^_^

    And that saddle... BLECH!

  4. I think a monthly caption contest is the best idea since the New Yorker started doing it recently ! You've got my vote :)

  5. pretty clever capions guys. Well done

  6. GREAT captions! Love them, made me laugh out loud. Thanks guys!

(Saddle made me laugh out loud too, btw)

  7. the horn on that saddle PLASTIC?

  8. Great idea, yep do it : )

That saddle; seriously tacky - it has no redeeming features, at all

    yuk yuk yuk

  9. Yes, ma'am! That would be a fun thing. Too bad I cannot come up with anything funny to say but I sure enjoyed OPs. The saddle. Umm, I like black. I like turquiose. I do not like that saddle. Nope.

  10. Congrats to the winners! All of those were excellent--I would have had a hard time choosing! I actually made the Rin Tin Tin/Trigger reference myself, but was trying to think of sometihng witty along the lines of Roy Rogers had some budget cuts, so RTT had to fill in.... I couldn't think of anything good! :)

I say keep it up, scaequestrian--it's a great idea!

  11. I love the saddle on the dog, but where's the monkey?
