  1. Lawrdy, Lawrdy, Gawdy, Gawdy!

Free Pad! Is that because they can't give that away either?

    Everything in moderation people...

Not enough brain bleach in the world, I tell ye

  2. Ooops, I forgot to add this. On the camo stuff, don't people worry about the horse blending in so well they accidently get shot by other hunters?

  3. My 6 year old twin boys would go nuts for the camo stuff if they had their own pony! They begged me for the green camo pattern Troxel helmets when I was buying them a helmet and if they had been available in their size, I would have never convinced them to get the black ones!

  4. a camo halter wouldn't be so bad to have, i've never seen one before. looks kind've interesting. i can live without the rest though.

  5. Halters in wild colors is acceptable as long as they don't have little stones glued all over. Heck, they're cheap enough to have 1 in every color!! But saddles should not be rainbows. (Please tell me there are no saddles with rainbows stuck on them.)

  6. I love your blog. I didn't realize there was so much tacky in the world.

The camo halters may not be so bad, but what if your horse loses it in the field? Not that anyone ever leaves a nylon halter on during turnout....

  7. I dont mind halters in crazy colours and patterns - less likely to 'wander' away. That 2nd saddle - eek!! It looks orange, white and blue. Grrross

  8. That second saddle reminds me more of the flag for Denmark than for the U.S. What's up with not having any stars and only one white stripe?

I honestly like the last camo halter. The first one looks really weird, and for crying out loud, why BEIGE with green and brown camo on it? Why not, oh, I don't know, GREEN????

  9. I love the first bridle in marine digi-cam. OoRah! hehehe. The rest of the stuff can take a hint, or a hike, either way they need to leave.

  10. Yuck on the Red,White & Blue stuff. That's just nasty. But hey, if a camo saddle would have gotten my son to ride longer, I would have bought him one. I did get him a camo helmet cover from Sleazy Sleepwear for Horses and he loved it.

That tan halter with the camo trim looks like it came from Ronmar Industries
( http://www.ronmarindustries.com/). They make nylon tack in every color with many different trims. It's well made and looks great. They even make English style nylon bridles, halters, leads and girths in colors with matching saddle pads and helmet covers.

  12. Funny how all the shamefully colored and patterned tack is the cheap crap. I think it is a distractionary tactic the keep one's eye and mind off of the quality.

  13. I know this is a very old post but I was wondering if you remembered where the ACU headstall was from. My son is doing a costume class showing his support for our troops and this would be perfect. djsaddletramps @ hotmail is my email Thank you for your time
