Attack of the hairy tack...

I bet all of you are sitting at home looking at the um, somewhat obscene, curly haired saddles from Tuesday's post wondering, " I wonder if they make a matching bridle and breast collar for it? If they do I SO want one!" (sarcasm)

Well, your unspoken wish is my command, I present to you, the matching bridles and breast collars.

Oh and look, it even has big rhinestone conchos. (Love the toilet in the background btw, is that where you are going to dispose of the offending item?)

Still looks like pubes to me. I just don't understand the allure.

  3. I think they are trying for a uni-brow for their horses.

  5. What the hell!? Hey think of it as a tacky built in fly fringe! As if those aren't tacky enough on a horse when riding.

  7. Just think about how wonderful it's going to look when that hair gets all full of horsie sweat. Ick. I'd trim the hair off because I actually DO like that 1st headstall (minus the fuzzies).

  8. Man, these saddles and bridles are going to be in my head for a LONG time...posts like these need to have a BRAINBLEACH warning in them, LOL.... \
    WHY??? At least the saddles will be covered when sitting on them, but this????

  11. When I first saw the photo of the hairy bridle, I thought of those old fake disguise glasses w/huge eyebrows and huge nose. Gave me the giggles. I guess if I ever saw these things on a horse, I would be engulfed in giggles.

  12. The funny thing about all of this is that God made horses with their own hair. {{{drips sarcasm}}}

  14. Hey, about those crocheted fly tassel thingies that are all the rage? Well, at least they're superduper popular (still) with the big time international-level jumpers, if the photos are any indication...

    Are they really THAT useful?? Are they holding in earplugs as well as keeeping flies out?

    I think they're cute, I just wonder if they're all that more better than... oh.... fly spray, or if they serve a dual purpose I'm not aware of?

    And do those Breathe-Right thingies for horses REALLY work that well? I always giggle when I see them on human athletes, and kudos to the company for making 'em with NFL logos on them for the players. Marketing WIN!

  15. cattypex - in response to the fly bonnets, I use one on my horse because he is actually allergic to fly spray and they're great for trailriding too.
